haha its not for me it my companion, he is like getting a
blood transfusion or something. It’s pretty cool.
Short story for the week:
We were having a hard time... no one has let us into
their house on the first knock on my mission so far. So we prayed. We knelt
down in the middle of the road and prayed that someone would let us into their
house. So we knocked on the next door.
DEEDEE answered it and let us in. She is a plumber who is
awesome and her husband is interested in the gospel too.
Before she let us in though, we had to clear a few things
up about Mormons. Really people think we are disgusting people and I would too
if I had the knowledge they did about us. She thought we were Satan worshippers
who married multiple 12 and 14 year old girls. I finally understand why people
really are afraid of us. I would be too. I would want to run away. But really
we are not any of that, we are Christians. Who are doing our best to follow
Jesus Christ and return to our father, God.
So the message today is to pray. It works and it is easy.
Here are a couple pictures of my week because I don't
have enough time to explain it.
Elder Christensen
Love his courage! It is so sad that people think that we (15 million) LDS people are so strange and disgusting!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Jill! I guess we can only change opinions one person, one personal contact at a time...So glad Heavenly Father answers humble prayers!
